Inside The Collected Kind
Spaces with presence
Design, at its best, lives in balance— creating spaces that work beautifully with the life unfolding around them.
I’m inspired by homes with a sense of history, where every material and finish feels intentional — honest, familiar, and quietly expressive.
Each project by The Collected Kind begins with an understanding of how people live — noticing the ways design supports everyday rhythm and ease. Every element is considered: the warmth of wood grain, the weight of linen, the contrast between refined and organic. Thoughtful layers become a study of tone and texture, incorporating materials that age gracefully and tell a story — creating spaces that feel harmonious, personal, and enduring.
The Moody Study
Dark, grounded, and quietly confident — a space made for slowing down.
Wrapped in rich brown paneling and anchored by natural light, this study balances old-world character with modern function. Brass lighting, leather textures, and timeworn details bring a sense of story and stillness — a space for reading, working, and simply being.

The Rosy Retreat
Warm, softly nostalgic, with just the right amount of whimsy.
This room feels like a modern fairytale told through color and craft — rich blush cabinetry and earthy ochre accents play against vintage-inspired prints and natural textures. The palette is warm but unexpected, with soft pinks grounded by wood tones and moody plum undertones. Whimsical yet mature, it’s a space designed to grow with her — complete with a cozy loft for play, daydreams, and just-before-bedtime puppet shows.

The Storybook Bunks
Classic craftsmanship meets playful imagination.
Moody blue-green walls set a rich foundation for warm accents of rust and cognac. Airy linens and woven textures lighten the space without feeling too stark, while traditional patterns like plaid and florals lend a touch of nostalgia. Brass lighting and natural materials add depth and glow, softening the palette with an easy, lived-in charm. It’s a space that feels heritage-inspired but never precious — made for late-night whispers and dreamy adventures.

Helping you design with purpose, not overwhelm
While I don’t offer full-scale renovation management or architectural design, I can absolutely collaborate with the professionals who do. My strength lies in creative guidance, styling, and curation — bringing a thoughtful, cohesive eye to your interior’s design story through hourly consulting.
To make the process intuitive and transparent, I utilize user-friendly online tools like Miro — organizing ideas, mock-ups, mood boards and feedback in one place. Every project begins with a clear structure that I set up and walk you through, so you’ll always know where things stand and how your project is progressing.
-
Whether it’s choosing paint colors, materials, furnishings, or styling details, I guide you toward a cohesive look that feels like you.
-
Moodboards, layouts, and sourcing ideas to help you see the full picture before making big decisions.
-
I often partner with homeowners, contractors, or designers who need creative input or styling support.
-
My role is about refining and enhancing — helping you make the most of what’s already there, or building on a foundation that exists.
Let’s design
something together
Whether you’re building a brand or refining a room, I’d love to help bring your vision to life.
